Nestled on a cul-de-sac street among tall oaks, some of which have stood for over 100 years themselves. To pay homage to the majestic trees located throughout the neighborhood, Reclaimed White Oak Flooring that was originally located in a century old barn was the choice for this kitchen remodel. The warm brown tones and a bit of character create a homey feel while the single plank widths provide consistency. To add to the warmth and off-set the stone island, durable Reclaimed Hickory countertops encompass the other workspaces. By incorporating a few, well placed wood planks into the garden room, the brick flooring is softened to establish a comfortable reading area. The perfect mixture of wood, stone, brick and soft colors create a space that is cozy and refined.
